DSTI Launches 'Give Back Month' This May with Meaningful Ways to Support the Community

DSTI is proud to launch Give Back Month, a month-long initiative taking place throughout May 2025, aimed at fostering community engagement and encouraging employees to give back in impactful ways.
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - May 8, 2025, Dynamic Sealing Technologies (DSTI), is proud to launch Give Back Month, a month-long initiative taking place throughout May 2025, aimed at fostering community engagement and encouraging employees to give back in impactful ways. Through four unique opportunities, employees will be able to contribute their time, resources, and compassion to causes that matter furthering DSTI's mission of supporting stronger, more connected communities.
As part of this initiative, DSTI is partnering with RISE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities and mental illness through access to employment, housing, and life-enrichment programs. Together, DSTI and RISE are working to assemble hygiene kits for individuals served across Minnesota and Wisconsin. Employees are invited to participate by donating their time or providing monetary contributions to help purchase supplies. Every donation will directly support the well-being and dignity of those served by RISE.
In addition, employees are encouraged to participate in the Cards That Care initiative. Research indicates that receiving handwritten notes can reduce feelings of loneliness among seniors and foster a greater sense of emotional connection and well-being. Beginning May 1, blank greeting cards will be made available and Team members are invited to write thoughtful messages, notes of encouragement, or provide illustrations, which will be delivered to residents of Arbor Oaks Senior Living Facility in Andover, Minnesota.
DSTI is also organizing an in-person volunteer opportunity at Second Harvest Heartland, one of the nation's leading hunger relief organizations. Employees will participate in a food sorting and packing shift at the organization's Brooklyn Park, MN facility. This effort supports the distribution of meals to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity throughout the region.
In alignment with DSTI's dedication to environmental sustainability and community engagement, we will take part in a Community Cleanup Initiative aimed at enhancing the cleanliness and appearance of the nearby streets and surrounding areas. Employees will work together to collect litter and debris, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, businesses, and visitors. This initiative not only reflects our dedication to preserving the local landscape but also reinforces the importance of collective action in fostering community pride and sustainability.
