DSTI Employees Celebrate Earth Day with Community Clean-Up Event

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - April 23, 2014 - DSTI employees set out to clean up trash as part of a new Adopt-A-Street program recently implemented by the City of Andover.
Employees who came out for the clean-up event say picking up litter and taking ownership to keep their streets clean is easy and improves the community.
"As a responsible company, we are always looking for new initiatives and ways to give back to the community and the environment," says DSTI General Manager Pat Pastoors.
"The City of Andover has been a great supporter of DSTI and our growth. This is a wonderful opportunity to return the support to the city and our neighbors."
Coinciding with Earth Day, the clean-up event was the launch of DSTI's ongoing commitment to the city-sponsored Adopt-A-Street program.
Earth Day, celebrated annually on April 22, was started in 1970 as an effort to make the world a cleaner place.
