MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - May 9, 2011 - A world leading steel recycler relied on DSTI's engineering team to design a coolant transfer solution needed for a ladle furnace turret system.
DSTI was challenged with designing a large, rugged 10 passage rotary union that integrated into an existing rotary table to rotate an up to 300 ton pouring ladle.
The solution provided a reliable and maintenance-free cooling system that critically improved service downtime during uninterrupted casting operations.
